Motorcycle insurance built for Pennsylvania riders
Liability, collision, comprehensive, UM/UIM, custom parts, roadside, and seasonal lay-up — shopped across 10+ carriers by a local independent agent who actually rides the paperwork with you.
Coverage for the bike you actually ride
From stock cruisers to custom pipes and trikes — we build a package around your machine, your miles, and Pennsylvania’s rules.

Liability
Bodily injury and property damage you cause to others while riding — Pennsylvania’s required coverage, quoted at limits that actually protect you.
Collision
Repairs or replacement if your bike is damaged in a crash with another vehicle or object, regardless of fault.
Comprehensive
Other-than-collision losses: theft, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, animal strikes, and falling objects.
UM / UIM
Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage when the other driver has no insurance — or not enough — in a crash that isn’t your fault.
Medical Payments
Helps with medical bills for you and your passengers after a motorcycle accident, often regardless of who was at fault.
Custom Parts & Equipment
Aftermarket exhaust, saddlebags, custom paint, chrome, audio, lighting, and more — beyond the low caps on many stock policies.
Roadside / Towing
Flatbed tow and roadside help when you break down — important for bikes that can’t sit roadside safely.
Lay-Up / Seasonal Storage
Park it for winter and often pay less while it’s stored. Built for Pennsylvania riders who hang it up for the cold months.
Trikes & Scooters
Three-wheelers, scooters, and mopeds need the right classification. We quote the bike you actually ride — not a one-size form letter.
Why ride with an independent agent — and why LWG
Looker, Wolfe & Gephart has helped Pennsylvania drivers and riders since 1987 from our brick-and-mortar office at 44 Oak Park Rd, Harrisburg. We don’t sell your information to a call center.

- We shop 10+ carriers. As an independent agency we compare multiple motorcycle markets — not just one company’s book.
- Pennsylvania only. We write exclusively in PA, so we know Class M rules, seasonal lay-up, and local underwriting.
- Local brick-and-mortar. Real people at 44 Oak Park Rd, Harrisburg — not an online lead-gen site that sells your info.
- Call or text anytime. Reach us at 717-657-9944, Monday–Friday 8–5. Same local team every time.
- Accessories declared right. We make sure custom parts and equipment are scheduled so you’re not stuck with a stock-policy cap.
- Bundle-friendly. Already have auto or home with us — or want to? We look for multi-policy savings when they fit.

Motorcycle insurance FAQ
Why do I need to declare accessories and their total value?
Most motorcycle policies include only a small automatic allowance for custom parts and equipment — often a few thousand dollars or less. Aftermarket exhaust, saddlebags, custom paint, chrome, audio, lighting, seats, GPS, and windshields can easily exceed that. If you don’t declare the add-ons and their total value, you may not be paid to replace them after a theft or total loss. Tell us what’s on the bike; we’ll schedule Custom Parts & Equipment so the coverage matches what you ride.
Do I need a Class M motorcycle endorsement in Pennsylvania?
Yes. To legally operate a two-wheel motorcycle on Pennsylvania roads you generally need a Class M endorsement on your driver’s license (or a motorcycle learner’s permit while learning). Three-wheel vehicles and some scooters can have different rules — bring your license class and we’ll match the quote to how you ride.
Can a motorcycle safety course lower my premium?
Often yes. Many carriers offer a discount if you’ve completed a qualifying Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) or PennDOT-approved course in recent years. List the course and date on the form — we’ll apply every discount you earn.
What is winter lay-up / seasonal storage coverage?
If you park the bike for the cold months, a lay-up or storage endorsement can reduce what you pay while collision/liability for road use is paused and comprehensive (theft, fire, etc.) often continues on the stored bike. Common for PA riders from roughly November through March. Tell us your storage months and where the bike sits.
Are passengers covered on my motorcycle policy?
Liability can cover injuries you cause to others, including a passenger, subject to your limits and the policy. Medical payments (MedPay) can also help with passenger medical bills. Passenger liability options vary by carrier — say how often you carry a passenger and we’ll build it in.
What’s the difference between collision and comprehensive?
Collision covers crash damage to your bike (hitting another vehicle or object). Comprehensive (other-than-collision) covers theft, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, animals, and similar. Most financed bikes require both; many pleasure riders choose both for peace of mind.
Do you insure trikes and scooters?
Yes. Trikes, three-wheelers, scooters, and mopeds are quoted on the right product — classification matters for price and eligibility. Note the bike type on the form.
How is LWG different from those online quote sites?
We’re a local independent agency in Harrisburg since 1987 with a physical office at 44 Oak Park Rd. We compare 10+ carriers, keep your information for quoting — we don’t sell your lead — and write Pennsylvania only. Call or text 717-657-9944 and talk to a real agent.
